Alexton Scale Media LLC (“Alexton Scale Media,” “we,” “our” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information when you visit alextonscale.com (the “Site”), contact us, or use our services. This Policy applies to individuals located in the United States.

Information you provide to us

• Contact and inquiry information — name, business email address, company name, website URL and the content of your message when you use our contact form or email us.
• Client account information — if you become a client, business contact details, billing contact, invoicing details and information needed to perform the services (for example, access to advertising accounts, analytics and e-commerce platforms).
• Communications — records of correspondence with us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and dates and times of visits.
• Cookies and similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy.

Payment information

We do not store full payment card or bank account numbers on our systems. Payments for our services are processed by our bank or by third-party payment processors, which handle payment data under their own privacy policies and security standards (including PCI DSS where applicable).

• To respond to inquiries and provide proposals;
• To perform, manage and improve our marketing services under our client agreements;
• To send invoices, process payments and maintain business and accounting records;

We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

3. Client Data Processed on Behalf of Clients

When we access a client’s advertising, analytics, e-commerce or email platforms, we process any customer data contained in those systems solely on the client’s behalf and according to the client’s instructions. The client remains responsible for its own privacy notices and for obtaining any consents required from its customers.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate our business — such as website hosting, form handling, email, cloud storage, accounting and payment processing — under contractual confidentiality obligations;
• Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants and auditors;
• Authorities when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety or that of others;
• A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Inquiry information that does not lead to an engagement is generally deleted within 24 months. Client and billing records are retained for as long as required by U.S. federal and state tax and business record-keeping rules (generally up to seven years).

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls and multi-factor authentication on business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable state data-breach notification laws.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the state where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete personal information we collected from you;
• Obtain a portable copy of your information;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do not sell or share personal information);
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email support@alextonscale.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days (or the period required by applicable law). You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request.

8. California Notice at Collection

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP address); commercial information (records of services purchased); internet or network activity (Site usage data); and professional information (company name and role). These are collected for the purposes described in Section 2 and retained as described in Section 5. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in states with higher thresholds). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
